we need to slow down.

Technology advancing, everywhere's more digital. Offices, Shopping malls, school, even houses.
I feel that we really need to slow down. I always think im very much in touch with my all of friends but in fact im not. I always see them online but i dont talk to them unless im damn free to talk to them because most of them im not close to at all.

One day, i was just popping hi to one of primary school friend whom im quite close to. I sensed this awkwardness in the conversation while wishing him happy birthday. He expected me to say more than those but no i didnt. I only wanted to say happy birthday just like every year. Even if we were to talk, we need hours and he got his whole new social circle and he changed quite a bit in his character. It will be so different talking to him unlike the past.

Technology gave me the excuse to say im in touch with all of my friends because i saw their nicks but i do not know what really happen in their lives. Everyone has drifted another social circle of their own. Is that how world works? Moving from people to people and not going back to the person you once know? No wonder there are people saying cherish the times you have because it will never be the same when you leave the school.

And suddenly i feel weird seeing everyone going in pairs around me. Probably due to some problems one of my friend is facing. How is it that the one you suddenly got thinking of all day and feeling the need to see so you are happy all day can also be the one you got so frustrated and sick of all the problems you are given and decided to leave? How is it possible? Why is it only for a period of time? What's the essence to make it last longer or how much you have to give in or the compatibility of the characters or the communication? There's so many contributing factors, How do we know?

Weather's really cold now. It's been raining since yesterday. I love my housemates.

How i wish im able to type this long for my essays
