yes. look at the title. IT IS TOAD DISSECTION.
so yea. it can be quite gross to some people.


serious. i was real scared when i entered the lab today. because my friend told me it's pretty disgusting and there's a strong disturbing stench. eeeeew
i was late for class and test alrdy started.
i quickly went to my table and i alrdy saw the tray of a very disgusting looking amphibian right in front of me.




GROSSS. the green khaki colour is some sort of clay or wax for us to "crucify" it :((((

it took me quite a while to pin it because i didnt dare to touch it. it's soo filmsy and and soft and squishy.

and we have to stretch the limbs as far as we can. :(

and when i pin it, i can hear "crack" sounds. i think i just pierced through its bone. AHHH.

my friends and i kept saying SORRY SORRY SORRRRRRRY.

and so we proceed to dissect it. ALOT of girls were "wailing" away. including me.

i closed my eyes when i first cut its skin. oh man. IMAGINE if we're dead and we're used as research bodies! WAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH. oh when we're murdered and they are doing a Y cut of our body!!!!!!!! omgggggggggggg.

after cutting the skin, we have to cut away the muscle area so we can see the organs.

You can totally smell the stench. omggg. the toads have been dead for a year! and it still can get quite bloody.

tada~ im proud to announce my first dissection. it's not that scary. and i didnt lose my appetite.

I managed to eat hotpot for 3 hours! HAHAHAHA.

it's interesting to see the organs mannnnn.

and seee the orange thing, it's fats. mine's soooooo fatty. it is exactly like tau suan! in sticky starchy substance. ROFL.
